The 26th Running of the Breeders' Cup World Championships - 2009

Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th 2009, is the

26th running of the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championship.

Post positions were drawn on Tuesday afternoon, November 3rd.

Zenyatta, undefeated in 13 starts, was the early favorite in the Classic

as she attempts to be the first female to win the World Championship.

Alabama Stakes winner, Careless Jewel,

is the early favorite in the Ladies Classic.

Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird and

Travers winner Summer Bird will also be there.
